Friendship
Another photo of a photo. This 56 1/2" x 64" quilt was a gift to the Lawrenceville School Infirmary from which I retired. I worked at the school from 1986 until 1999. The quilt now hangs in the staff meeting room of the new infirmary. It previously hung in the waiting room of the old infirmary.
Each small tan block contains a signature of a co worker or faculty member. The quilt is "scrappy" comprised of many different red and tan fabrics. The school colors are red and black. The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted.
I have a "sister quilt" which remains unfinished, with well wishes to me from the signers of this quilt. I hope to finish this soon. It is nearly done......
